چکیده

Cyperus esculentus produces large amounts of oil as one the main storage reserves in underground tubers, making this crop species not only a promising resource for edible and biofuel food chemical industry, but also model system studying accumulation non-seed tissues. In study, we determined chloroplast genome sequence cultivated C. (var. sativus Boeckeler). The results showed that complete was 186,255 bp size, possessed typical quadripartite structure containing single copy (100,940 bp) region, small (10,439 pair inverted repeat regions 37,438 size. Sequence analyses indicated encodes 141 genes, including 93 protein-coding 40 transfer RNA 8 ribosomal genes. We identified 396 simple-sequence repeats 49 long repeats, 15 forward 34 palindromes within esculentus. Most these were distributed noncoding regions. Whole comparison with those other four both more divergent than highest variation found phylogenetic trees based on genomes 13 species, all five Cyperaceae formed clade, evolutionarily related to rotundus three species. summary, provides valuable genomic identification, evolution, comparative research family.

Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence and Phylogenetic Analysis of Paeonia ostii.

Paeonia ostii, a common oil-tree peony, is important ornamentally and medicinally. However, there are few studies on the chloroplast genome of Paeonia ostii. We sequenced and analyzed the complete chloroplast genome of P. ostii. The size of the P. ostii chloroplast genome is 152,153 bp, including a large single-copy region (85,373 bp), a small single-copy region (17,054 bp), and a pair of inver...

The Complete Chloroplast Genomes of Three Cardiocrinum (Liliaceae) Species: Comparative Genomic and Phylogenetic Analyses

The genus Cardiocrinum (Endlicher) Lindley (Liliaceae) comprises three herbaceous perennial species that are distributed in East Asian temperate-deciduous forests. Although all three Cardiocrinum species have horticultural and medical uses, studies related to species identification and molecular phylogenetic analysis of this genus have not been reported. Here, we report the complete chloroplast...

The Complete Amomum kravanh Chloroplast Genome Sequence and Phylogenetic Analysis of the Commelinids.

Amomum kravanh is an important edible and medicinal herb, the dried fruits of which are widely used in traditional herbal medicine as cardamom. We sequenced and analyzed the complete chloroplast (cp) genome of A. kravanh with herbgenomics technologies. The size of the A. kravanh cp genome was 162,766 bp, which consisted of long (LSC; 87,728 bp) and short (SSC; 15,390 bp) single-copy regions, se...

The Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence of Ampelopsis: Gene Organization, Comparative Analysis, and Phylogenetic Relationships to Other Angiosperms

Ampelopsis brevipedunculata is an economically important plant that belongs to the Vitaceae family of angiosperms. The phylogenetic placement of Vitaceae is still unresolved. Recent phylogenetic studies suggested that it should be placed in various alternative families including Caryophyllaceae, asteraceae, Saxifragaceae, Dilleniaceae, or with the rest of the rosid families. However, these anal...

Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence and Phylogenetic Analysis of the Medicinal Plant Artemisia annua.

The complete chloroplast genome of Artemisia annua (Asteraceae), the primary source of artemisinin, was sequenced and analyzed. The A. annua cp genome is 150,995 bp, and harbors a pair of inverted repeat regions (IRa and IRb), of 24,850 bp each that separate large (LSC, 82,988 bp) and small (SSC, 18,267 bp) single-copy regions. Our annotation revealed that the A. annua cp genome contains 113 ge...
